About The Program.
Between The Lines is a nonprofit organization focused on reducing recidivism through mentorship, educational programming, reintegration services, and utilizing sports as a form of therapy. Additionally, we provide a platform for incarcerated individuals to share their unique stories, connecting them with the outside world and offering a deeper understanding of their experiences. Our mission is to build bridges between the incarcerated population and society, creating opportunities for growth and rehabilitation.

STORY TELLING
We leverage storytelling to connect incarcerated individuals with the outside world, fostering empathy and understanding through their shared experiences.

We serve as a vital resource for recently released individuals, providing access to job placements, educational opportunities, and support for any endeavors they wish to pursue to ensure successful reintegration into society.
RECREATIONAL THERAPY
We use sports as an escape from prison walls and a way to connect, fostering trust and dialogue to understand each individual's needs through a shared love of the game.
BOOK CLUBS & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING
Our book clubs provide an educational platform where carefully selected books encourage dialogue and vulnerability among participants.
MENTORSHIP
Our diverse volunteers, united by a passion for helping incarcerated individuals, serve as mentors to inspire and guide them upon their release.
